About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hairstylist to join our team at Lorcon Industries. As a key member of our barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultations: Meet with clients to discuss their hair needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations for hair styles and treatments.
  • Hair Cutting and Styling: Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair to meet client expectations.
  • Hair Colouring: Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair.
  • Scalp Care: Provide scalp conditioning massages and other hair treatments as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other hair stylists and staff, and train apprentices or students in the art of hairstyling.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform receptionist duties, including booking appointments and managing client records.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field of hairstyling.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and manual dexterity.
  • Certifications: Required certifications for the position.
