Qualifications and Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Millwright/Maintenance Worker to join our team at Island Health. The successful candidate will possess a Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification Certificate as a Journey Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) recognized by the Province of BC, and have a minimum of two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

A valid Class 5 vehicle license is also required.

Key Skills and Abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in operating related equipment.
