Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Journey Maintenance Electrician to join our team at the Louisiana-Pacific Corporation. This role involves performing predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions under minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of electrical functions, equipment, and tools, as well as basic PLC programming skills. Additionally, they should possess time management and prioritizing skills, be able to read and interpret electrical drawings, and have experience in various HMI software.
In this position, you will conduct electrical PMs, troubleshoot electrical equipment, and maintain high quality of workmanship. You will also have opportunities to complete training identified by the Electrical Team Leader and participate in improvement projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of electrical functions
- Knowledge of equipment and tools
- Basic PLC programming skills
- Time management and prioritizing skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
