Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Autolinx Express Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc welding machines, brazing machines, and spot welding machines
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with custom fabrication, auto repair, and machinery or equipment repair
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, including resistance, spot, or seam welding, shielded metal arc welding, and gas metal arc welding
  • Experience with plasma arc welding and brazing and soldering
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a commercial setting with a fast-paced environment and repetitive tasks.
