Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Transport Chalut 2000 Inc. as a key member of our transportation operations.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve transportation goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • International, local, long-haul, national, provincial/territorial, regional, and short-haul transportation experience
  • Knowledge of transportation/travel information, including valid driver's licence, willingness to travel cross-border, and willingness to travel overnight
