About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Ingonish Home Hardware. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store is always stocked with a wide range of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Manage the overall operations of the store, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Financial Management: Manage the store's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a retail service establishment in a rural area. We are willing to relocate the right candidate to our location. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a retail environment and be willing to work in a team-oriented environment.
