Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement mine closure plans for various mining projects in Canada.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure project delivery and compliance.
  • Lead teams of consultants and engineers to provide closure planning services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (engineering, geology, environmental science).
  • At least 5 years of experience in mine closure planning, with a focus on environmental assessments and permitting.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and instruments (ICMM, MAC).
