Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to provide remedial assistance to students in our GELA Continuing Education program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students in need of academic assistance
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification
  • Qualification to teach in the Intermediate and/or Senior divisions
  • Experience working with students who require remedial support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
