Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on a temporary part-time basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to residents and supervising care given by staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan resident care needs
- Deliver skilled procedures according to the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with the standards set by the Ontario College of Nurses
- Observe and monitor resident condition and report changes in physical or mental status
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and adjust resident care plans
- Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BScN preferred - Experience in long term care or rehabilitation is preferred
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Completed police record check, including vulnerable sector screening
This is a temporary part-time opportunity at The District Municipality of Muskoka. The hourly compensation range for this role is $35.01 – $50.11. We also offer a range of benefits to our temporary employees, including incentives for new graduates.
