Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Spicy Affairs Bowmanville.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and preparing budget and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Hire food service staff and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish work schedules and supervise staff.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Standing for extended periods and ability to work in a team environment.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude is essential.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Work Schedule:The Food Service Supervisor will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
