**Our Tax Practice**

Our tax practice offers the opportunity to work in a range of tax and succession planning areas, including estate & trust compliance, personal and corporate tax planning, purchase and sale of private businesses, estate planning, and cross border investment and compliance. We are interested in meeting candidates with experience in any of these areas.

**Job Summary**

We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our tax practice in Toronto or Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax engagements, contributing to the growth of the firm, and providing high-quality tax service and advice to clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage and coordinate tax planning and compliance services for individuals requiring US and Canadian income or estate tax filings
  • Manage risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets
  • Review assessments and correspond with the IRS, state authorities, and CRA on various issues
  • Build and manage client relationships at a senior level; advise clients by delivering high-quality tax service and advice
  • Actively mentor and coach staff to their highest potential
  • Support and mentor firm staff in respect of tax matters
  • Identify client service opportunities
