Rozel Restaurant Supplies is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst Assistant to join their team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to assist in financial analysis, bookkeeping, and data entry. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be proficient in MS Office, and possess strong communication skills.
The successful candidate will work closely with our finance team to prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, maintain general ledgers, and reconcile accounts. They will also assist in preparing statistical, financial, and accounting reports, as well as tax returns and trial balance of books.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Financial Analyst Assistant will support our team by maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and performing data analysis. They will also contribute to the development of financial models and reports to help inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in financial analysis and budgeting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare cheques for payroll and other expenses
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Support the preparation of tax returns and trial balance of books
- Develop and maintain financial models and reports
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
