Thrifty Foods Pharmacy Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate pharmacist to join our pharmacy team at Thrifty Foods.

About the Role

As a pharmacy team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that patients receive the best possible health outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating warmth, empathy, and compassion while acting in the patient's best interest to achieve excellence in patient-centered care, customer service, workflow efficiencies, and professional clinical services.
  • Providing patient counselling and education for new therapy to patients/caregivers while tailoring to the needs and concerns of the patient.
  • Initiating care plans, following up, and completing proper documentation.
  • Participating in professional programs and collaborating with colleagues to provide excellence in health & wellness services to all patients.
  • Actively engaging in all areas of Fusion to ensure patients experience seamless care and a consistent pharmacy experience across locations.
  • Ensuring prescription safety prioritizing technical functions to Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants as required.
  • Thoroughly understanding all relevant corporate pharmacy service offerings/programs and providing each customer/patient with the program that meets their healthcare needs.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends/developments; attending training as required.
  • Adhering to all regulatory requirements, Company policies, processes, and procedures (e.g., OHS, Loss Prevention, CQI).

The salary range for this position in British Columbia is $55.00 - $60.00 per hour. What We Offer

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.

Must be a Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing, in the province of responsibility.

Injection and First Aid Certification.

Kroll software experience is preferred.

Additional pay: Bonus pay, Retention bonus, Signing bonus.

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Day shift, Evening shift, Monday to Friday, Morning shift, Weekends as needed.
