Rosendo Silva Barboza is seeking a skilled Cement Finisher to join our team. As a Cement Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces. Your tasks will include filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement, operating power vibrators to compact concrete, and imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications

Requirements:

  • Cement Finisher Trade Certification
  • Ability to work at heights and in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
