About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tire Repairer to join our team at Island Tires Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fluid Maintenance: Add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Assistance and Support: Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Engine Maintenance: Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment to prevent wear and tear.
  • Heavy Equipment Maintenance: Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment to ensure smooth operation.
  • Repair and Replacement: Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators as needed.
  • On-Site Services: Provide on-site services to our customers, ensuring prompt and efficient repairs.
  • Tire Repair: Repair and balance tires to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation.
  • Filter Replacement: Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment to maintain optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
