This is a future pipeline to a leadership role in Supply Chain/Maintenance or Manufacturing. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to our company's success.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including counting and reconciling inventory levels on a daily basis.
- Research and resolve daily inventory variances, ensuring that our inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Reconcile inventory levels with our SAP computer system, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
- Identify and report close-dated products, ensuring that our inventory is current and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct and document inventory audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize our inventory control systems.
- Communicate with the management team to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring that our inventory management processes are efficient and effective.
- Analyze and identify areas where internal controls can be improved or implemented, ensuring that our inventory management processes are secure and compliant.
- Become a subject matter expert on field-level inventory internal controls, ensuring that our inventory management processes are compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Perform individualized facility training on policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring that our team members are equipped to manage our inventory effectively.
- Assist with annual independent inventory schedules, ensuring that our inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Review inventory variance reports daily, working with the inventory analyst to identify and resolve issues.
- Assist in standardizing and ensuring adherence to financial and operational control policies and procedures, ensuring that our inventory management processes are secure and compliant.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by the department manager, ensuring that our inventory management processes are efficient and effective.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent business experience required.
- 3+ years' experience in manufacturing, distribution, and warehouse operations, finance, or accounting, or audit experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience (asset).
- CPA certification (asset).
- Ability to periodically lift, push, pull 50+ pounds, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach.
