About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technician to join our team at Park Derochie Inc. As an Architectural Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects by creating detailed drawings, analyzing technical documents, and assisting in the supervision of construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Create accurate and detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD.
  • Technical Analysis: Analyze technical documents and reports to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Project Support: Assist in the supervision of construction projects, including monitoring progress and identifying potential issues.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of project progress, including working drawings and specifications.
  • Communication: Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as architecture or engineering.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication and teamwork skills.
