Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

At TOTEM Recruteur de talent, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

About the Role:

As the Financial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of accountants, overseeing the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, managing month-end tasks, and ensuring compliance with IFRS. You will also contribute to external audits and assist with continuous improvement projects and systems implementations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of 6 accounting professionals
  • Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Manage month-end tasks, including reviewing journal entries and accruals
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and contribute to external audits
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects and systems implementations

Requirements:
  • CPA designation would be considered an asset
  • Bachelor's in Accounting would be considered an asset
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a large organization
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
  • Leadership experience with a focus on team development
  • Bilingual (English/French) and proficiency in Microsoft Office
