We are seeking a skilled Mattress Maker to join our team at Les Matelas Lapensee Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality mattresses and furniture components.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, sand, and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts to ensure precision and quality.
- Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles.
- Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards.
- Make minor adjustments and repairs as needed.
- Experience in woodworking and furniture assembly is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational and reliability skills.
This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is noisy, and the ability to work in a team setting is essential.
