The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned investment advisor to play a key role in the development of our investment consulting practice.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of advising institutional asset owners on investment-related matters, conducting research, and building relationships in the Canadian marketplace.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice on investment matters to clients
  • Conducting research and analysis to inform investment decisions
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, investors, and investment managers
  • Contributing to portfolio asset allocation, risk management, and performance attribution
  • Leading training, mentoring, and managing other team members

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in investment advising, strong interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to work independently with clients, investors, and investment managers.

Segal is a leading North American employee benefit, human resources, and investment management consulting firm with over 80 years of history. We offer a comprehensive suite of benefits, including a non-contributory defined benefit pension plan, extended health benefits, dental benefits, life insurance, disability insurance, and professional credential and tuition reimbursement.

The current salary range for this position is $180,000 CAD to $220,000 CAD, plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
