Material Recovery Sorter - Environmental Conservation

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Recovery Sorter to join our team at Okotoks Bottle Depot. As a key member of our sorting crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient recovery and processing of recyclable materials.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong work ethic, be punctual, and demonstrate dependability. Excellent oral communication skills are also essential for effective collaboration with colleagues.

You will be required to sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products, as well as perform other laboring and elemental activities. Your physical demands will include standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs), and working under pressure in a dynamic environment.

What We Offer:

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits including relocation costs covered by the employer. Our team members enjoy a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout their shifts, with regular breaks to maintain productivity.
