Job Summary

Great Canadian Gaming Corporation is seeking a skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing casino promotions, sponsorships, community events, and electronic media campaigns in support of corporate marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement select promotions for multiple casino venues, including sourcing promotional merchandise, prizes, and decor.
  • Develop and implement advertising campaigns, purchasing media in support of select promotions.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain electronic media campaigns, maximizing the effectiveness of web content, Internet ads, social networking, and other digital channels.
  • Maintain an electronic marketing calendar, drafting promotional guidelines and creative briefs.
  • Respond to and screen sponsorship inquiries, presenting possibilities to the Sponsorship Committee for review.
  • Coordinate, implement, monitor, and follow up on company-supported community events and sponsorships.
  • Monitor and maintain budgets for community events, sponsorships, select promotions, and electronic media, reporting variances.
  • Track marketing purchase orders, maintain spreadsheet logs, and respond to, resolve, or escalate purchasing issues.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, management, team members, vendors, sponsors, community organizers, and regulators.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in marketing or a suitable combination of education and experience is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, with experience in promotions and special event planning required. Gaming or hospitality experience is preferred, and electronic media experience is an asset.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.
Work Environment

Regular office environment, non-traditional work hours may be required in certain circumstances, and some travel may be required.
