Job Description:

As a Lunar Spacecraft Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team working on flight-focused and near-term space development activities. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the end-to-end electrical design and development cycle, from early-phase formulation to final flight design.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Design and develop electrical systems for lunar spacecraft, including circuit boards and hardware assembly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine system requirements and resolve problems.
  • Maintain proficiency in computer applications and instruct suppliers on materials and equipment usage.
  • Provide guidance to technical teams to solve complex design problems and assure management awareness of status, problems, and achievements.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in Space Engineering or Electrical Engineering with specialization in electrical systems design.
  • Several years of experience designing electrical systems for lunar spacecraft, including detailed design knowledge of mitigation strategies for extreme environments.
  • Experience with commercial space flight missions and methodologies, as well as embedded software / firmware development and FPGA implementation.
  • Strong understanding of complex electrical, thermal, and electromechanical systems, including EMC/EMI and radiation concerns in space environments.
