We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Professional to join our team at Big Guys's Fried Chicken. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, fixed assets, and depreciation
- Maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and reconcile accounts
- Post journal entries, prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, and tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books and maintain computerized bookkeeping systems
- 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office, and QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position, with a focus on providing excellent service to our customers and supporting the growth of our business.
