Job Summary:

The Saskatchewan Healthcare Recruitment Agency is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating, treating, and caring for patients with breathing problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with respiratory conditions using oxygen, medicines, and advanced mechanical technology measures and equipment.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a doctor to provide patient care in hospital, clinical care, and community care settings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide the best patient care.
  • Work in shifts to provide healthcare coverage based on the needs of the facility or clinic.
  • Opportunities to grow as a RRT include taking advanced courses to work in specialized areas and pursuing management and leadership positions.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy training program.
  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist with the Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapists.
  • Successful completion of, or eligible to write, the Canadian Board for Respiratory Care exam.
