Senior iOS Software Engineer

Join our team of talented engineers at Reddit, where you'll have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects and contribute to the development of our iOS app.

About the Role:

  • Design, build, and ship iOS code, experiments, and products for millions of users.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering counterparts to execute on product and business strategy.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and across disciplines.
  • Contribute meaningfully to our team's strategy and participate in product reviews and team meetings.
  • Foster a healthy engineering culture and collaborate with other engineers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of post-internship, full-time, hands-on, professional software development experience developing user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale, using Swift.
  • Expertise in Swift.
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as unit/integration/end-to-end testing, design documents, CI/CD, A/B testing, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully remote environment.
