Sales Associate Salary

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Operate cash registers efficiently to process transactions quickly and accurately.
  • Process various forms of payment, including money, cheques, credit/debit cards, and handle returns.
  • Scan items correctly to ensure accurate pricing and availability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs.
Work Environment

This role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent interactions with customers and colleagues. The work schedule may vary, but typically includes 30-44 hours per week.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic math skills to handle cash handling and reconcile payments.
