Job Title: Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 driver to join our team at Cooper Equipment Rentals. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and delivering heavy construction equipment to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload equipment from our fleet
  • Secure loaded equipment according to company procedure and inspect in transit if necessary
  • Deliver and pick up equipment from customer locations
  • Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records
  • Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean or satisfactory driver's abstract
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial driving experience
  • Experience with operating and delivering heavy construction equipment is preferred
  • Familiarity with local roads and comfortable with manual transmission
  • Ability to work overtime when required
