Job Title: Restaurant Operations Assistant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Operations Assistant to join our team at James Street Cafe & Grill. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
- Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives
- Set staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Supervise staff to ensure high-quality service and food preparation
- Train staff on new procedures and policies
- Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
