As a key member of our team, the Area Sales Trainer will play a critical role in facilitating and supporting the production of virtual classroom learning, evaluating participant performance, providing feedback, and coaching to reinforce learning.
About the RoleThis is a remote position with 60-70% travel to facilitate training. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and executing learning interventions to ensure mastery of training objectives.
- Facilitating training courseware and practice activities to ensure mastery of training objectives.
- Coordinating the delivery and instruction of material for both new and existing training offerings.
- Selecting the appropriate learning modes to engage trainees in active learning and maximize on-the-job performance.
- Using various instructional strategies to deliver content effectively given the learning environment.
- Guiding groups to acquire skills, make decisions, or complete tasks using facilitation techniques.
- Managing classroom dynamics, addressing unproductive participant behavior, and keeping trainees focused on the task at hand.
- Identifying and understanding the root causes of performance gaps.
- Developing holistic views of performance problems and suggesting training-based solutions.
- Working independently with project management aptitude.
- Managing assigned tasks and projects.
- Observing, evaluating, and coaching learners as needed based on performance and engagement.
- Evaluating and coaching trainers based on performance and post-course feedback.
- Reviewing, editing, and enhancing training curriculum and materials as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or Education, or High School Diploma or GED with four years of relevant work experience.
- Five years of relevant work experience delivering and facilitating training programs.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written).
- Technical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly OneDrive.
- Ability to work in a physical occupational setting.
