Job Summary:
We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Planner based in Richmond, BC. This role will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, and/or Operations Manager to plan work orders, establish maintenance schedules, and ensure the inventory and work order system runs efficiently. The successful candidate will be instrumental in improving Maintenance Technician efficiency by preparing work orders for execution and tracking equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and purchase repair materials and spare parts inventory effectively within company policies.
- Collaborate with purchasing to place parts orders for work order planning.
- Ensure all parts and repair materials are purchased in a cost-effective manner.
- Adopt and carry out a verifiable and recordable work order process in 4Site (CMMS) for all maintenance duties.
- Coordinate and supervise outside contractors as required.
- Ensure the preventative maintenance program is being followed.
- Perform all maintenance duties safely.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Five years of industry experience in production planning or coordination is an asset.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic parts used in industrial machinery.
- Ability to estimate parts lifetime and schedule preventative maintenance for replacing those parts before failing.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

Work Environment:
- Permanent Full-time position (40 hours per week, Mon-Fri).
- Exposure to noise and temperature variations when in the production area.
- Hours may differ as operational needs dictate.
- Light lifting required.
- Wearing of company-provided Personal Protective Equipment is necessary as applicable.
