Electrical Foreperson

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreperson to join our team at Imperial Oil - LRD Project in Cold Lake, Alberta. As a key member of our electrical crew, you will be responsible for leading a team of journeypersons and apprentices, assigning daily tasks, and conducting daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.

• Lead a team of electrical journeypersons and apprentices, assigning daily tasks and performing front-line supervision.
• Conduct daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections, and complete follow-up activities.
• Complete daily activity reports and submit to the Supervisor.
• Promote and ensure the FLRA process is conducted before every task with the crew.
• Review weekly servicing and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Report back to the clients and/or the Project Manager on the progress of the job, the estimated time to completion, and employee evaluations.
• Ensure all new hires/transfers receive required orientations and attend site-specific orientations.
• Ensure adequate and suitable safety equipment, including PPE, is supplied, readily accessible, properly used, and maintained.

• Electrician Journeyperson Certificate.
• CSTS-2020.
• H2S Alive.
• Standard First Aid.
• AWP.
• Fall Protection.
• Valid driver's license and a 3-year abstract.
• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
