About the Role

Cworth Developments ltd is seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure our projects remain in excellent condition.
  • Paint and Wallpaper Application: Mix paint to desired colour and texture, and apply wallpaper and other materials to walls and ceilings.
  • Advice and Guidance: Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, providing expert recommendations to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as required for safe and efficient access to work areas.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan work schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
