Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for building virtual models from plans, specifications, and elevations with direct supervision. You will collaborate with the project team on the development of construction site logistics models and assist with model updates. Additionally, you will support the project team in the creation and processing of RFIs and promote the use of virtual construction tools and processes to project staff.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in a buildings-industry related discipline (e.g., architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), civil, architectural).
  • Some co-op or relevant experience in a construction environment preferred.
  • Drafting and modeling experience.
  • Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D construction drawings and specifications is an asset.
  • Working knowledge and training in 3D modeling software and the ability to create content in VDC software is an asset.
  • Exposure to 4D scheduling software and planning tools is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret markups to construction drawings.
  • Ability to participate in trade coordination meetings and understand trade partner deliverables and scope.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
