Job DescriptionThe Diesel Mechanic Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to diesel engine repair and maintenance, including:
- Troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions;
- Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized testing equipment;
- Ordering parts and maintaining inventory;
- Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts;
- Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all work meets manufacturers' specifications and adheres to safety standards.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
RequirementsTo be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must have:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role;
- A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- Excellent mechanical skills and knowledge of diesel engines;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $50,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
