Warehouse Cleaner Job Description

As a Warehouse Cleaner, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day cleaning and sanitization tasks throughout the facility. Your duties will include maintaining the warehouse in a clean and orderly condition, collecting plastic, garbage, and cardboard throughout the workspaces, disposing of waste, and ensuring all facilities (including washrooms) are always clean and stocked with the necessary supplies and tools.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills to join our team. As a Warehouse Cleaner, you will have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, completing various maintenance tasks and prioritizing your work. You will also be required to lift items up to 50lbs and stand for a long period of time outside.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute day-to-day cleaning and sanitization tasks throughout the facility
  • Maintain the warehouse in a clean and orderly condition
  • Collect plastic, garbage, and cardboard throughout the workspaces
  • Dispose of waste
  • Ensure all facilities (including washrooms) are always clean and stocked with the necessary supplies and tools
  • Actively participate in the spill response team to manage and mitigate spills promptly and safely
  • Stack and dispose of pallets
  • Sweep and mop the facility floors
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized with good time management and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision completing various maintenance tasks and prioritizing the work
  • Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and stand for a long period of time outside
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program
  • The ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
