Salary

The hourly salary range for this position is CAD $41.42 - $59.52, offering a competitive compensation package to our valued staff members.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of patients and their unborn babies, identifying risk factors and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and the inter-professional care team to provide person-centered care.
  • Initiate emergency care for patients and newborns in crisis situations.
  • Develop, implement, and modify patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an approved School of Nursing and current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • One year of recent, related clinical perinatal nursing experience, preferably in a designated clinical area.
  • Completion of post-graduate basic coursework and/or certification in perinatal nursing applicable to the designated clinical area.
