Job Overview:
Alberta Health Services (AHS) is seeking an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) to join its team in the North Zone. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a diverse northern landscape, providing emergency medical services to patients in need.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and location.

Job Description:
The ACP will be responsible for assessing emergency scenes and patients, transporting ill or injured patients from emergency scenes and between facilities, and treating patients by administering medications and advanced life support. The working environment is demanding and includes exposure to various weather conditions and hazardous situations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Non-restricted registration as an Advanced Care Paramedic with the Alberta College of Paramedics
* Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
* Valid Class 4 driver's license and a clean driving record
* Ability to obtain a valid class 4 Alberta Operator License or equivalent
* Successful completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation test via Lifemark organization
