Merchandising Team Lead

About This Opportunity
The Coca-Cola Canada Merchandising Supervisor plays a critical role in leading the company's merchandising team within the Vancouver LML territory. This position is responsible for translating strategic priorities into operational execution in Coca-Cola Canada's customers' stores. The team will work closely with national and local grocery chains and mass merchandisers to ensure our products are executed to the company's standards and capture maximum sales.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of full-time and part-time merchandisers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful store execution.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and providing prompt responses to queries and issues.
- Negotiate and optimize customer service levels based on company guidelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct regular store visits to monitor adherence to execution standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Schedule team members to meet the demands of the business, flexing labor to match volume and ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Manage team performance within labor and operating budget, ensuring alignment with company targets.
- Collaborate daily with internal Sales and Customer Operations partners to ensure alignment on all initiatives and drive business results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of progressive sales experience, with a focus on account management and customer relationships.
- Previous experience in a consumer goods organization, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and customer needs.
- Complex selling knowledge, with the ability to create and sell-in customer-specific promotional programs and key initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives.
- Proficient experience with computer applications such as SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong business acumen, including an understanding of budgets and operating costs.
- Customer-focused with proven relationship-building strengths and experience developing workforce plans based on business goals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Proven collaboration skills, with the ability to gain consensus through personal influence and promote an inclusive work environment.
- Able to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product, with a valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
