Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at S Class Transport Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a semi-truck, transporting goods safely and efficiently, and ensuring timely delivery of cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a semi-truck, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Transport goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of cargo.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate transportation schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure and oil levels.
  • Collaborate with other drivers to ensure smooth transportation of goods.
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Experience an asset
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week
