Tax Specialist

At KPMG-Canada, we're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Tax Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing tax and payroll compliance services to our multinational clients.
About the Role
As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of technical, project management, administrative, and support functions related to the management of our clients' expatriate tax programs. This includes preparing working paper files for income tax returns, reviewing Canadian and US personal tax returns, and managing client information gathering to ensure accurate and timely completion of returns and schedules.
Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional client service and meet project deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in tax compliance and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Canadian and/or US tax compliance for individuals, a completion of a post-secondary undergraduate degree, and excellent people management skills.
