Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a safe and efficient manner. This will involve driving straight or articulated trucks, loading and unloading goods, and performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive lighter, special purpose trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and safety
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class 1 or A driver's license
  • An Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience handling hazardous materials
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
