Campus Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Campus Chef to join our team at Sodexo Canada Ltd. As a key member of our food service operations, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, menu planning, and event catering planning. Your duties will include managing high-volume food and beverage departments, leading kitchen teams, and ensuring compliance with food safety and health protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee food production, food service, and menu planning
• Responsible for catering and customer service
• Direct and coordinate employee activities
• Meet with guests and clients as the face of the food services department
• Train kitchen teams
• Support food and physical safety programs

Requirements:

• 2-5 years' experience in a well-established food service facility and in catering
• Red Seal certification is mandatory
• Proven experience managing high-volume food and beverage departments
• Ability to work to high standards, policies, and procedures
• Strong team building skills: friendly, outgoing, customer service oriented
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience with Human Resources (staffing, scheduling, coaching, and training of kitchen teams)
