Job Summary

Rival Trucking is seeking a skilled Vacuum Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a vacuum truck to collect and transport hazardous materials.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a vacuum truck to collect and transport hazardous materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Hold valid Air Brakes Endorsement, Bear Awareness Certification, Class 1/1F/A Licence, Class 3/3F/DF Licence, Working at Heights Training, CPR Certificate, Driver's Licence, First Aid Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
  • Willing to travel for extended periods and work overtime as required
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal record check, driver's validity licence check, and drug test
