Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiation Technologist

Interior Health is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiation Technologist to join Royal Inland Hospital's Medical Imaging Department. Located in a scenic valley in BC's Thompson Okanagan Region, Royal Inland Hospital is a Tertiary Hospital providing high-level, specialty medical care. This position is a Permanent Full Time (1.00 FTE) role with various shift types, including days, evenings, and nights, with shift times ranging from 07:30 to 15:30 to 23:30 to 07:30.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional, as designated.
- Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

QualificationsTwo (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
