Drafting Technician

A.R.M.S. Manufacturing Ltd is seeking a skilled Drafting Technician to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, working closely with our engineers and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements and develop design sketches
- Complete documentation packages and drawing sets for construction projects
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and perform job-site calculations
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drafting or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
