Receiving Supervisor

Avtar Johal Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receiving Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt and storage of goods, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the receipt and storage of goods, ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient use of warehouse space.
- Supervise a team of 1-2 people, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed, ensuring the warehouse remains in good working order.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
