We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of our upcoming AAA mobile game, Rainbow Six Mobile. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and enhancing systems to support the technology and tech consistent with the design of the Rainbow Six brand.
Key Responsibilities
- System Development
- Design, develop, and implement systems to support the technology and tech consistent with the design of the Rainbow Six brand.
- Issue Resolution
- Promptly address any issues and bugs to minimize disruptions and maintain a smooth game development workflow.
- System Integration
- Ensure seamless integration of these systems with our game engine, editor, or middleware while maximizing their efficiency.
- Technology Research
- Propose new technologies to improve video game production pipelines.
- Code Optimization
- Program in a clear and structured manner while respecting performance, maintenance, modularity, extensibility, and compatibility requirements.
- Performance Monitoring
- Monitor performance and memory budgets, adjusting as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software programming experience.
- Strong proficiency in C#.
- Experience with Unity or other game engines.
- Experience in tool design and implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Windows Presentation Foundation WPF.
- Knowledge of networking protocols.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Perforce or Git.
- Game development experience - hobby or professional.
- Strong understanding of software development processes.
- Experience with profiling tools.
