Job Title: Nanny

We are seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to join our family as a live-in caregiver. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch care and companionship to our children, as well as managing the household.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
  • Cook
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Child welfare check
  • Criminal record check
  • Drug test
  • Medical exam
  • Basic security clearance
Work Environment:

The nanny will work in a non-smoking, scent-free environment in our employer's home. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis.

Language:

The language of work is English or French.

Work Hours:

The nanny will work 40 hours per week.
