What Will You Work On?
As a Medical Support Assistant, you will perform a variety of clerical duties related to the operation of a patient/resident care area. Your responsibilities will include prioritizing, processing, and coordinating physicians' orders, acting as a communication link for the unit, and scheduling patient appointments. You will also be responsible for assembling and maintaining patient/resident charts, inputting patient/resident data, and transcribing information into relevant systems. Additionally, you will perform clerical duties such as keyboarding, data entry, filing, compiling, and preparing reports. What Should Your Application Include?
Completion of Grade 12
A current Typing Test of 40 wpm or greater completed within the past 48 months from a recognized institution
